Pre-cast Estimator

A company of 50 employees which has been built on knowledge, commitment and the understanding of its customer needs a pre-cast estimator, our client has progressively expanded in 2016 within the construction sector and servicing the commercial construction industry. As Pre-cast concrete plays such an important role a buildings structural integrity, this position will provide the successful person with great experience and understand of the structural components of Low and high-rise building construction.

Key functions of this position include:

• Calculating expected concrete, steel and construction costs from architectural and structural plans
• Take tender enquiries and submit quotes
• Estimate Complete full take off for steel, fabrications and installation for residential projects.
• Building relationships with the customer and communicating any items raised to the responsible department
• Project Budgeting
• Monitor, track and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality service

Skills and attributes:

• You’ll need to be good with numbers
• Organised and committed to being a part of a team!!
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Good Word, Excel and understanding of the full Microsoft office suite
• Auto Cad and MS Project knowledge will be highly regarded.

As the companies, right hand man (or woman), you will play an important role in the success of the company. Moreover, you will play an important role in tendering for new work and existing customers, manage and analyse information on the progress of projects and the allowances made from tendering through to project deliverables.

The successful person will be provided great training and support directly from the owner and his knowledgeable team.
